TCCHS Open House
TCCHS would like to extend to you an invitation to our open house on Wednesday, September 30 from 4:00-7:00. This will be an opportunity for you to visit and tour the school as well as meet your TCCHS teachers and staff.
We have several events going on during our open house including:
Internet Safety Session: Sabrina Bishop will be presenting an Internet safety session in the TCCHS Cafeteria from 5:00-6:00 pm. The session will be informal but very informative chance to look at both the benefits and risks of the Internet. There will be lots of practical advice on how you and your family can enjoy the benefits, whilst minimizing risks. There will be a short presentation and opportunities for questions and discussion.
Registration and Household Changes: It is of the utmost importance that all registration forms are completed, signed and returned to school ASAP.During open house staff will be available to assist you with household changes and questions regarding student information requirements.
Student Fees Collection: Along with registration documents, all students at TCCHS are expected to pay a $60.00 school fee. This money is used to help supplement classroom instructional materials, and goes directly back to benefit our students. You can pay fees as a one time payment or pay by installments. If you choose to make payments, the first installment of $30.00 must be paid by September 30th. The second installment of $30.00 must be paid by February 6, 2015. During open house staff will be available to collect student fees.
PTO Registration: TCCHS PTO offers an invaluable link between students, school staff, teachers and families, but without you and your support it would not be possible for the PTO to continue to sponsor events and provide much needed contributions to our school. By joining the PTO, it provides you an opportunity to show an interest in your child's education and school activities, support for his/her teachers and school and improve the relationship between parents and school personnel. PTO Officers will be present during open house to discuss ways you can become involved in our school.
TCCHS Alumni Association: We invite you to become involved in the TCCHS Alumni Association either as a graduate of TCCHS or as a friend of our organization. That goal of TCCHS Alumni Association is to showcase successful alumni from TCCHS. To enhance this goal, the Alumni Association has established a scholarship fund. Each year the association plans to offer five seniors with scholarships as they transition from TCCHS to college. The TCCHS Alumni Association will meet at 6:00 in the Media Center. Members will be set up prior to the meeting to answer questions regarding the association.
